Dr. Sheena grew up in nearby Fort Saskatchewan. As a regular chiropractic patient throughout childhood she personally experienced its benefits when her headaches and neck pain were successfully treated. Her interest in chiropractic grew over time with an increased understanding of the wide array of conditions treated. With her interest peaked, and a desire for a career that allowed her to help people, she started her path towards chiropractic. She began her education at the University of Alberta, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree with a Specialization in Psychology in 2007. She then completed her Doctor of Chiropractic degree in Toronto at Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, graduating Magna Cum Laude with Clinic Honours in 2012.
She is trained in Diversified Spinal Manipulation, soft tissue techniques including GRASTON Technique, and Kinesiotaping. She uses a combination of these techniques to treat a variety of neck, back and extremity conditions, always ensuring she is working within the comfort level of her patients.
Outside of clinic, Dr Sheena enjoys keeping active and spending time with her family and friends. She and her husband Mike recently brought a new puppy into their home named Reilly. It’s been an adventure, but she is excited to have a new walking partner!
